Liz Gill Neilson - Art Director, "Heart of the Wild"
Liz Gill Neilson is a painter, printmaker, and designer. In her recent work in painting and mixed media print tapestry, she strives to reveal a mythology of forms from nature and the animal world. She lives in Manhattan and shows her work in New York, Portland, the Freed Gallery in Lincoln City, Oregon, and the Boston area. This year, along with her husband Duncan and pianist Deborah Bradley-Kramer, Liz recently founded the White Buffalo Music and Arts Salon series, a gathering of artists, performers, speakers and listeners in an atmosphere of philosophical and artistic enquiry and community, which meets in New York. Liz is excited to be part of the "Heart of the Wild" collaboration with Duncan Neilson III, composer and David Robinson, narrator where music, art and story come together to remind us that we are still deeply rooted in the wild.
