Pacific Youth Choir is a community of six choirs of 190 young singers from ages 6 through 20. The organization is committed to building and sustaining choirs that perform major works from the choral repertoire at the highest level of musical excellence, while instilling a lifelong love of music in each singer. Through the ongoing process of rehearsal and performance, each PYC singer emerges as a confident young adult whose life has been transformed through a musical education that focuses on community building as an essential aspect of personal growth.

Since its inception in September 2003, PYC choirs have been in demand, performing locally, regionally, and nationally. Guest appearances include: Three appearances last year with The Oregon Symphony Orchestra in; Lord of the Rings, the John Adams "On The Transmigration of Souls", and Britten songs, The Portland Youth Philharmonic with Ghanaian Drummer Obo Addy. In our second season, we appeared in The Chicago Gold Heritage Festival, Trinity Cathedral Concert Series, Aurora Women's Chorus, Aaron Meyer concert, and in our premier season PYC was featured choir with Pacific Children's Choir Festival.
