DAVID ROBINSON

David Robinson was the Artistic Director of The Dimensions Theatre Project, General Manager of The Seattle Shakespeare Company, Conservatory Manager and acting instructor at PCPA Theatrefest and founder and director of The McCandless Communications Academy and co-founder of The Circle Project. Currently, he tells stories at conferences and workshops, is a freelance director, painter, consultant, adjunct faculty at Antioch University, and a member of the National Storytelling Association. His recent directing credits include GOD'S COUNTRY for the Greer Garson Theatre, INTO THE WOODS for Maui OnStage, CORIOLANUS for Greenstage and the evolved pieces Un-CONSCIOUS and REVENGE for BAYFEST (British-American Youth Theatre Festival). Recent stories include SISYPHUS for the Fetzer Institute, PARCIVAL, for the Society For Humanism in Medicine (SHIM), THE POLAR BEAR KING for Executive Diversity Services and THE CRESCENT MOON BEAR for the Oregon Mentors Network. He just published his first children's book, LUCY AND THE WATERFOX and is in development for a one-man-show, THE LOST BOY. His paintings are in private collections throughout the United States. David Robinson co-wrote the narrative for "Heart of the Wild" composed by Duncan Neilson III which was premiered by the Portland Chamber Orchestra in January 2007.
