"It is important to expose children at young ages to good music, especially since we can not rely on our public schools to offer that exposure anymore," said Yaacov Bergman, music director and conductor of the Portland Chamber Orchestra. "Opening up our dress rehearsals is a perfect opportunity for our organization to do our part for this community and to inspire the next generation of music lovers."
