The Portland Chamber Orchestra is committed to reaching the concertgoers of tomorrow. As is our custom, each of PCO’s Saturday dress rehearsals is free of charge for children and their families. It’s our way of introducing young people to the world of classical music. Fun-filled activities abound in the lobby in the concert hall foyer just prior to tuning up for the exciting rehearsal. PCO has also showcased young performers from the Portland metro area, and our orchestra members work regularly with local schoolchildren as teachers and mentors.
